At Once Upon A Child you'll find a huge selection of gently used kids clothing, toys, furniture and equipment at up to 70% off retail! We're not your typical secondhand store. The items that we buy and sell are next to new, good quality, clean and have been checked for safety standards.

Selling Tips
- In order for us to offer the latest and greatest in styles at value prices, clothing and accessories must be purchased within the last five years.
- Equipment and toys must meet current safety standards and include all parts. Not sure if your item qualifies? Bring it in and we’ll check it out!
- Check out our what we buy page to see what types of items we buy and sell, we know we buy items you have not even thought of!
- Be sure your apparel items are freshly laundered and in good condition – no stains, fading, or excessive wear.
- Clean toys and equipment sell best.
- It is most efficient for us to review items folded neatly in a box, bin or tote. Please, no hangers or garbage bags.
- It’s always a good idea to call us to find out about what we buy.
Our process is simple! Bring in your gently used kids' stuff - you know, the clothes that they outgrew last season that are taking up space in closets and drawers - AND - the bassinets, cribs, high chairs and toys that are no longer needed. For infant sizes 0-12 months we purchase next to new, as we see so much of these sizes come through the door everyday.
We will pay $$$ on the spot for those items that we can use. And, feel free to browse the store for great values on name brands while you are here! No appointment necessary!!

We ask that you bring in your items freshly laundered, laid flat in a box or a basket to avoid wrinkling, and, if you can't stick around to shop, come back within 24 hours to pick up what we could not purchase, and any $$$ we have for you. Because of space constraints, we apologize that we must donate all abandoned items, but will keep a check for you for 90 days, for those items we have purchased from you.
We give Customer Appreciation Stamps for all that we buy from you as well, so your dollars add up much more quickly.
